Before my sales job and even before graduating university, life threw me a curveball I wasn’t ready for. I got seriously sick — so sick that I couldn’t eat for weeks and couldn’t work for months. I lost weight and went into debt. Every day I worried. How would I pay for my next doctor’s visit? Where would I find the vitamins I needed? What job could I get now, with the health accommodations I required — accommodations traditional 9-5s don’t typically care to offer? It showed me that a 9-5 wasn’t truly secure or stable after all — that if you suddenly got sick, your whole world could be turned upside down, leaving you feeling fearful and hopeless. I didn't want to ever be left feeling that way ever again... nor did I want anyone else to. That experience changed everything. I knew I had to build something different. Something that let me prioritize my health and have true financial security. The only flexible traditional job I could find was sales — where I could set much of my own schedule around my needs. After graduating, I landed that sales role and made 4-figures a week. It was good money, but I still felt something was missing. Not when entrepreneurship was calling me. I dreamed of building an online business that gave me freedom to work on my own terms and live a life I loved — as my own boss. So I quit my high-paying sales job and took the leap into entrepreneurship. My mission: build a business to free me from the 9-5 grind, control my time — working as much or as little as I want — and earn from my skills.
