I love sharing information with agricultural producers in a way that they can take and utilize in their operations. I've had vast experience with writing in a variety of forms, including blogs, feature stories, web copy, social media content, marketing materials, email copy and more. I have managed social media pages and content creation for multiple clients across the agriculture industry. I am a tough editor and proofreader. I have also produced podcasts and educational webinars on topics such as cover crops, beef production and agricultural engineering. If it's an agriculture industry topic, I've written about it--from livestock and cover crops to orchards and carbon sequestration. My Clifton Strengths Finder top 5 are Input, Achiever, Discipline, Learner, Consistency. I'm a farm girl at heart--I grew up on a dairy farm in Missouri and also showed beef cattle in 4-H and FFA. I have a degree in Ag Journalism and a minor in Animal Science from the University of Missouri. I also am a graduate of Class IX of the South Dakota Ag & Rural Leadership program (SDARL). My husband and I have a small hobby farm in rural eastern South Dakota, and are the proud parents of three beautiful little girls.
