NCsoft Europe

Sarah James’ (née Rogers) career has been rooted in the Computer Games Industry, 10 years of which was spent at NCSOFT. Her role at the Korean games giant grew over this time, culminating in overall responsibility for the Publishing team for the European office.

Sarah began her career at NCSOFT Europe as European Sales Manager then Sales Director, overseeing the sales team and successfully implementing the sales launch for Guild Wars, Lineage II, City of Heroes.  
In 2011, Sarah became the European Sales & Marketing Director overseeing EU Sales & Marketing (media, online, print & trade) & team for Guild Wars 2 and other forthcoming NCSOFT titles. 
2013 saw overall Publishing responsibility included in the mix, the core focus being to maximise revenue and manage spending pre and post launch of each game. Localisation and Community responsibility, as well as general Publishing team & office management were added. In this role, close liaison with NCSOFT's US developers (ArenaNet and Carbine Studios) as well as NCSOFT’s Korean / US Headquarters was a critical element, ensuring the EU was delivering and advising to the highest level on each game.

In 2013 Sarah was voted one of ‘The Top 100 Women in Games’ for her contribution to the games industry as part of International Women's Day.

Sarah managed the sales channel for a UK-based software distribution company, handling games such as Prince of Persia, Age of Empires II & McAfee antivirus.
