Recruitment Specialist

Lead Executive Researcher responsible for devising bespoke search strategies in order to target active and passive market candidates.
In-depth analysis of multi-sector organisations to deliver a tailor made service from initial consultation through to placement.
Collaboration with clients and consultants to ascertain the intricacies of the search assignment and predicted timeline of delivery.
Liaison between client and candidate to ensure seamless coordination of the recruitment process.
Preparation of client specific proposals in order to showcase the service offering
Creation of Candidate information booklets to furnish candidates with information pertaining to the opportunity
Screening of applications to assess suitability based on in-depth research and a deep understanding of the search assignment.
Conducting screening interviews with candidates,  questioning to get a thorough understanding of their expertise and determining on this basis whether there is an alignment with the needs of the client.
Devising Executive Recruitment Overview reports to provide clients with up to date market information
Research of business development opportunities in the market place-keeping abreast of expansion/IDA announcements
Collaboration with marketing in order to update the collateral for the Executive Search arm and to devise and implement a marketing strategy to increase visibility of the service offering internally and externally.

Executive Researcher & Consultant

Deloitte Ireland

Associate specialising in supporting and advising multinational corporations claiming R&D Tax Credits and/or availing of incentives. 
Multi-disciplinary role involving liaising with project managers to determine qualifying projects/work streams as per the science test set out Sec 766, FCA 
Coordination and execution of technical interviews and project reviews to determine eligibility of projects and ensure a robust audit ready deliverable.
Write up of project reports in Revenue accessible manner addressing areas pertinent to the legislation 
Scrutinising and interrogating general ledger data, project expenditure and querying non-qualifying costs as set out in the legislation and Revenue guidelines, 
Preparation of claim calculations from general ledger data/management accounts ensuring the maintenance of traceability and upholding GDPR principles. 
Manipulation/mining of client data and data analysis of potential qualifying costings. 
Liaising with internal knowledge management team and Revenue officers on interpretations pertaining to S766, S766a & S766b FCA 
Supporting clients during audit and advising on response to Revenue aspect queries referencing legislation, guidelines and case law.
Client take on. Issuing engagement letters & ensuring all necessary risk checks and anti-money laundering (AML) checks had been completed.
Work- in -Progress (WIP) review and post engagement recovery analysis. Reporting of findings to client managers/partners to identify scope creep and suitability of fee per engagement. 
Advising clients of upcoming Corporation Tax (CT) deadlines and obligations. Linking in with CT team on larger clients to ensure seamless running of engagement and cohesion of timelines for deliverables.
Preparation of CT calculations and submission of Form CT1 on behalf of clients.

R&D Tax Associate

Tusla - Child and Family Agency

Management of School Return (SR) systems for aggregated student absences in National and Secondary schools. 
Processing school returns and annual attendance report and delivering key metrics reports to Educational Welfare Officers (EWOs).
Managing correspondence logs and assisting EWO’s with cases as required.
Provision of support to principals/school board members on reporting obligations as set out under Educational Welfare Act, 2000. 
Collaboration with internal software development team on the launch of new SR system.
Triaging common user issues experienced with launch and escalating feedback to the development team. 
Development of detailed on-site paper based internal archiving system for prior year returns. 
Logging and escalating Section 29’s (Expulsions) to relevant educational welfare officers. 
Administrative lead on School Completion Programme (SCP) involving preparation of service line agreements, supporting SCP coordinators and ensuring all compliance documentation from the programmes was obtained. 
Carrying out of administrative checks on Retention Plans and ensuring plans contained KPI’s necessary to be considered for funding. 
Ensuring financial compliance was satisfied ahead of scheduled first tranche payment
