Exciting news - I’ve joined the team at Xagio!

If you haven’t come across Xagio yet, it’s a seriously powerful WordPress plugin that helps you get amazing local SEO results. It handles the messy bits - tracking, site management, automation, and actually makes SEO inside WordPress enjoyable (I know, wild 🤣 ).

And you’ve got to try AgentX - their website builder that takes care of design, structure, and SEO automation all inside WordPress. It’s one of those tools that makes you wonder how you ever worked without it.

I’ve been using Xagio for a while with Impulse Riot Marketing, and it’s been a total game changer. So joining the team behind it just made perfect sense.

Impulse Riot is still going strong with myself and Richard Hanzlík at the helm - no changes there, just adding another fun challenge to the mix.

Sometimes a personal brand does more than build your career… it helps you find love, too. 💘😂

Last night we were laughing about the night we first met, and Richard Hanzlík may have confessed that he Googled me before our first date.

Apparently the videos, the psychology ramblings, and the “I’ve-got-my-life-together” energy convinced him I wasn’t a walking red flag. Win. 😅

After both of us came out of messy divorces, neither of us was keen on getting burned again - so a little online due-diligence was fair. I may have done the same 😂 

So here’s to personal brands: great for business, unexpectedly useful for dating. 🥂😂

We just started working with a new client on a website rebuild and discovered their current developer had quietly added affiliate banner ads to the live site. 😠 

Not even subtle ones - full banner placements, earning him commission on their traffic.

And here’s the wild part: he’s still on the project. This wasn’t some “after I left” situation.

Let’s be clear: that’s not clever monetization. It’s unethical.

When you build or manage a client’s site, you don’t get to secretly profit from their audience. The trust clients put in us as developers is huge, and stunts like this erode it for everyone.

Clients: get your sites checked.

 Devs: respect your clients’ trust - and your own reputation.

Rebranding after divorce should honestly count as a full-stack marketing project.

Once your name changes, you start noticing it EVERYWHERE: bios, YouTube descriptions, speaker pages, old portfolio pieces, podcast episodes, slide decks, guest posts, even that webinar you did three hair colours ago 🤦‍♀️ 

Suddenly, you’re doing digital archaeology on… yourself.

Here are a few practical things that kept me sane during the process:

📄 Create a Master Tracker. One document. Every place your name, bio, or branding appears. You will think you can remember them all. You cannot.

 🎥 Prioritize high-visibility content. Start with anything public-facing: YouTube, LinkedIn, website, speaker pages, and anywhere Google likes to show off on your behalf.

 📝 Update bios in batches. Write one solid new version, then tweak it for platforms as needed. Saves time and brain cells.

 📬 Do some light outreach. Podcast hosts, event organizers, collaborators — most people are happy to update your info if you give them the exact wording.

 🧹 Treat it like content cleanup. You’ll find outdated projects, old messaging, and things you forgot you ever published. It’s oddly satisfying.

 😅 Accept that the internet never forgets — but it does accept edits. Mostly.

The best part? It’s a chance to refresh your digital presence, tighten up your messaging, and present the version of yourself that actually matches who you are now.

Not glamorous, pretty annoying, but definitely empowering.

I grabbed a screenshot this morning that made me smile - content I published on my site yesterday is not only ranking in the top spot, but it’s already being referenced in AI Overviews.

I’ve been testing this across multiple markets and multiple languages, and the pattern is the same every time.

The truth? Traditional international SEO doesn’t work anymore.

Simply translating your English content and hoping it ranks is a strategy from another era. Same with transcreation. 

Search has changed. AI-driven discovery has changed. And the brands winning right now are the ones who understand that:

✅ Choosing the right keywords matters more than ever
✅ Crafting content intentionally for each market is essential
✅ Fast, proper indexing is the difference between waiting months… and seeing results in hours
🥳And no, you don’t need massive domain authority to win

We’re in a genuinely exciting moment where smart strategy beats big budgets, and where global visibility is possible faster than most people think.

If you’re still relying on translation-only workflows… or you’re not getting the results you expected, maybe it’s time we talk. ☺️
