Sarah has been medical writing since 2006. She is an experienced regulatory writer having worked in a number of large CROs and smaller consultancies. She is actively involved in the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and has provided valuable training and mentoring to many new writers.

Scinopsis Medical Writing

In addition to principal medical writing activities, the medical writing coordinator role incudes:

- Interaction with project management as medical writing representative
- Oversight of medical writer training and mentoring system, including design and coordination of new writer training programme
- Oversight of medical writing procedures

Principal Medical Writer and Coordinator

Writing, review, and quality control of Phase 1-4 regulatory documents to ICH requirements: clinical study reports, protocols, patient narratives, CTD clinical efficacy, safety, and pharmacology summaries (module 2.7), CTD clinical overviews (module 2.5).
 
- Lead writer for large CTD projects.
- Review of documents written by other medical writers or by clients.
- Training and supervision of new medical writers within Scinopsis.
- Writing of standard operating procedures and regulatory document templates.

Principal Medical Writer

For this reason, I have been involved in mentoring new medical writers since an early stage of my career. In parallel with my largely regulatory writing experience, I have managed and mentored several teams of writers and has been involved in setting up and coordinating training systems. At Azur Health Science, I am actively involved in advising and mentoring other writers through Sarah Tilly Mentoring. I have been medical writing since 2006 in clinical research organisations and medical writing consultancies and set up Azur Health Science in 2017. I hold a first degree in Biology and a PGCert in International HTA, Pricing and Reimbursement. 
      (No, I don't have a PhD!).
