In school I won a creative writing competition, and I thought to myself: “how cool would it be if I also won the essay writing competition?” I struggled with essay type of writing. No matter where you go, there are challenges to be faced. With self-discipline, I don’t let myself be discouraged by them. Instead, I take them as growth opportunities and overcome them. I rolled up my sleeves, learned essay writing best practices, I practiced, I failed, I analysed, I improved. The only thing standing in my way was myself. And I did it. The same was working with marketing even before knowing I wanted to study marketing. No platform experiences, no campaign experiences, no lingo experiences. The client gave me a goal and a date. I could either give up or roll up my sleeves. I will always find a way.
