I'm currently a Senior UX Writer at Santander, I worked as a UX writer at CarMax, and I earned my UX Writing certification from the UX Writing Academy by UX Writing Hub. As a UX writer, I strive to: ✍️ Identify problems through UX research and user testing, then strategize solutions. 👉 Seek new fields to learn about by working in banking, the automotive industry, and travel & tourism. 🙌 Find ways to grow as a writer and pursue exciting challenges. 👍 Utilize my Psychology degree to connect and empathize with users, as well as carry out research. Something you won't find on my resume—I worked in travel & tourism for 5 years as a copywriter and scuba diving instructor. During this time I: 🏝 Lived on a Caribbean island for 2 years called Utila. 🤿 Taught hundreds of students how to scuba dive. 🌀 Learned how vital user experience is (especially when explaining complex processes—like how to scuba dive—to people) and implemented UX practices in my copywriting. 👍 Used my background in psychology to keep others safe, calm nerves, and get them excited about the ocean.
