My role responsibilities: Sales, operations, account management & community engagement

*Personally accountable for 2 floors of a 2,700 member co-working building.
*Building strong relationships in person with members to support growth & retention 
*Managing sales following a structured process which lead to success

*Managing effective relationships across all third party teams to deliver operational efficiency & improvement projects to ensure the smooth operating of the building.

Community Lead 

The Vital Bowl

At 20 years old, I set myself the goal of getting my product into NZ supermarkets before I turned 21. My love for the benefits of healthy living combined with a market gap for sugar & gluten free, ready-made breakfasts led to The Vital Bowl. Within 16 months, The Vital Bowl grew from a weekend market stall and pop-up backed by 1,000NZD to a product range stocked in over 26 supermarkets and boutique grocers nationwide. I taught myself every business function and eventually sold the business to embark on my next adventure in London. 

•	Product development from beginning to end.
•	Market and consumer research.
•	Brand creation and promotion. 
•	Activated collaborations with companies such as Nike and Lululemon. 
•	Established key partnerships with major gyms and food retailers. 
•	Grew a social media following of 3,500 from scratch. 
•	Featured in 15 well-known NZ and international publications including MindFood, Healthy Food Guide, Kia Ora (inflight magazine of Air New Zealand), Remix, Good Health and more.

Volcano Coffee Works

Following a company restructure, I adapted into a new role building skills and networks in Volcano’s Business Development team. In recognition of my work ethic, commitment and positive attitude, I was awarded two company value awards for ‘Drive’ and ‘Hustle’ in 2018. Throughout my duration at Volcano Works Coffee I exceeded new business targets, established a tailored offering for a new non-traditional customer segment and developed my sales pitching and problem solving skills.

-Signed 60+ new wholesale accounts. Clients include Britain’s top luxury Department store, major global hotel group, rapidly expanding co-working space, start-up, large-scale London corporates and universities.
-Initiated, developed and executed Volcano Coffee Works first corporate offering after identifying a gap in the market and business opportunity.
-Organised events and activations to generate new business leads.
-Strategically established and expanded key industry partnerships and professional networks.

Business Development Manager

I was hired to take the UK’s first compostable coffee pod to market at London Coffee Festival 2017, within three months of being hired. Being the Project Lead for a new product channel required consumer market research, cross-departmental co-ordination (Product, Roasting, Operations, Sales, Marketing) and relationship management of external stakeholders including PR, design and web developer agencies. After the initial launch I remained the “business owner” implementing sales and marketing strategies to target the home consumer and big retailer markets both online and offline.

-Winner of the Consumer Award for Most Innovative Product at London Coffee Festival 2017.
-Seamlessly organised the Press Launch Event, exhibition stand at London Coffee Festival (attended by 35,000 people over 4 days) and marketing activations. 
-Co-ordinated internal and external stakeholders to bring the product to market.
-Managed ongoing day-to-day operations across stock control, orders, customer service, and logistics.
-Strategically established and expanded key industry partnerships and professional networks.

This was a self-managed role I took on alongside growing my own business which required my diligence, organisation and time management.

•	Self-managed role on top of running The Vital Bowl.
•	Co-ordinated over 15 Vendors.
•	Organised numerous themed events each attended by over 100 people.
•	Ran the social media and substantially grew its online presence.

Marketing Officer

I successfully completed a challenging 7 week basic training coarse over a 3 month period. This unique and structured military training taught me a great deal of leadership, team building and management training which would take a lot of time and money in the civilian world. I am now a private for the medical core in Dunedin 3HSC Battalion part time. This experience has taught me the true meaning of hard work, the importance of reliability, self-discipline and motivation, and commitment to get the job done to a high standard.
