I’m the Director of Instruction at Method Schools. Before working at Method, I spent 21 years as an English teacher and Department Lead. I also led teachers through transformative practices as an instructional coach for 18 years. In 2019, I took on a pivotal role in opening a groundbreaking school, shifting away from traditional practices to a competency-based learning model. Every student’s learning journey is unique and traditional approaches are not designed to adapt to the vast needs of all students. I support student-centric approaches and am proud to be part of a space that leverages online independent study to meet students where they are. I also write, blog, and dabble in UX content design.
