Being inactive when you work in social media.

Yes, professionally I’m not doing myself any favours.😶‍🌫️

I haven’t posted in a while. 

I haven’t been getting involved in conversations on LinkedIn as much as I would like. 

For a social media marketer, I might as well slap myself on the wrist and ask what the hell am I doing!🫨

But being a social media marketer, sometimes you need a pause on social media. 

I realised I couldn’t be online and be switched on. 
I couldn’t write content for my clients if I was online. 

It’s hard being creative and online sometimes.

And I couldn’t create content for my clients to the usual standard if I was online.
So, I spent less time online, because my clients are my priority.

I took a step back. 

Went out and did fun stuff when I wasn’t writing.
And it’s helped. 

It’s helped me focus on my clients and their marketing. 

Yes, my own marketing has suffered…but sometimes you need to switch off from being online.
