Wrapped up my fave company kickoff…ever. Here’s why:

1. We have an exciting path ahead this year. Our positioning is expanding. Our product ecosystem is evolving. We’re drinking our own champagne with OKRs centered around Human+AI (in that order). The future *and* current state of workforce development begins where it always has: learning. And OpenSesame is driving that.

2. I got to announce three (very well deserved) promotions on my team. YES FOR PEOPLE GROWTH!!!!

3. We ran back the open space format and the sessions were so, so good. I love when people bring vulnerability and authenticity as much as they bring domain expertise. My people.

4. Everywhere I looked my team and sales were together. In sessions. At lunch. On the dance floor. A reflection of the culture we’ve built brick by brick. Thanks Kolene Hammer 🧡

5. We had an excuse to play pretend with our closing party at the Comic-con Museum and the team did not disappoint 🤌

When everything moves fast and GSD is more of a lifestyle than a slogan, it’s easy to forget how far you’ve come. This week reminded me that momentum comes from trust, creativity, the chance to PAUSE…and people who genuinely want to build something meaningful together. While still having fun. 

Whimsy belongs in the workplace as much as AI does. We’re bringing both all 2026.
