I run Minds@Work, a charity that improves wellbeing by offering something we are increasingly starved of -- deep human connection. We create kind, compassionate and self-aware virtual communities ('HIVEs'), full of people striving to improve their own health. Belonging is what we all crave -- its at the heart of every thriving team, family or friendship group. As a lesbian with bi-polar, I often felt like the outsider. But in truth, many people feel the loneliness of exclusion. The HIVE programme, which I helped develop, is designed to strengthen bonds within any group. Unpaid carers. New parents. LGBTQIA+, University students, Disabled people and more. This work springs from my personal mission to help people be their truest and healthiest selves. I'm also a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, with a talent for helping people live their lives to the fullest, be their authentic selves and work to their strengths.
