As the sole individual contributor focused on software engineering roles, I have successfully scaled our engineering team from 8 to over 60 talented individuals.

Tech Talent Acquisition Lead

🧚‍♀️ I led Synthesia's Talent Acquisition team through an intensive growth period, managing 6 direct reports while also engaging in full-cycle recruiting for both engineering and TA roles.

🚀 In one year, our Talent Acquisition team successfully made over 240 hires, with 33 hires directly attributed to my efforts.

📈 During this period, we implemented a modern hiring tech stack, including Greenhouse, candidate.fyi, Metaview, Certn, eqtble, SeekOut, Calendly, and LinkedIn Recruiter. This allowed us to make significant progress in reporting and data-driven decision-making.

🌟 I strongly believe in prioritizing outputs over inputs and see talent acquisition as a strategic partner to the business rather than a transactional function. Consequently, we invested substantial time in partnering with the business, assisting with forecasting, education of hiring managers, setting up hiring processes, and improving candidate experience.

Started with 8 people writing code and in 1.5 years helped scale the team as the only tech recruiter to around 40 people writing code👩‍💻

On top of it all, it is really, but really, easy to use.

After using Candidate.fyi very successfully in quickly growing startups with amazing support from the Candidate.fyi founders, I was invited to join as a Talent Advisor, together with some amazing names in Talent Acquisition like Punith Suvarna, John Renfro, Devon Siegel, Jason Klein, and others, to support Candidate.fyi on their journey of improving candidate experience.
