Started back in 2016 as an investment firm, we were early Bitcoin investors. We got our major breakthrough in 2017 Bull Run, when BTC reached price levels of 20,000$. After that our firm got involved in Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Mining as well and we saw a need in India for an efficient supply chain of hardwares and devices involved in the process.

The Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Mining community of India was a highly unorganised sector and there were unreliable, fraudulent sources and vendors of such products and services. Over the next two years we gained expertise in these hardwares, their functionalities and processes involved in setting up customised cryptocurrency mining farms and rigs using lean methodology.

The main challenge that we faced in this field was, the manufacturing and servicing of such hardwares and devices was restricted to China due to their technological expertise and low cost manufacturing. We had to tied up with a few Chinese vendors to set up an efficient and smooth supply chain of importing these hardwares and devices in India. We started distributing and provided the best in class services in Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Mining field in India to become one of the dominant product and service provider in our field.

We have a strong community of over 10,000 people and over a 1000 happy customers in India and across the globe have been catered by our products and services. We believe in creating elevated experiences for our clients and customers to significantly impact the world we work in.

Titan Company Limited

As the Head of Innovation and R&D, I worked on internalisation of over 300 - 350 SKUs of Titan Eye Plus frames made of Acetate, Polycarbonate and Metal materials which were earlier manufactured in China. 

The process of internalisation involved these steps:

1. Design of frames and parts both 2D & 3D.
2. Material and Parts Identification.
3. Procurement of material and parts from vendors.
4. Testing quality and inspection of the material and parts.
5. Prototyping frames and getting approval by marketing team.
6. Pilot lot manufacturing 100 - 200 units as per approval.
7. Studying market response of the pilot lot.
8. Going for mass manufacturing.

Another project I worked on was setting up the manufacturing process and line for Metal frames which were earlier procured from China. This was a major breakthrough by our team and helped us reducing costs and lead time required for developing and manufacturing metal frames. This involved both prescription eyewear and sunglasses. I was involved in deploying and setting up manufacturing process of sunglasses and successfully converted 30 SKUs through internalisation.

Project title: "Workability Improvement & Packaging Material Handling Enhancement By Effective Utilisation of 4M Using Lean Methodology"

All over the world, occupational health and safety is a major concern amongst all economic sectors
and is predominantly seen in the industrial sector. The work environment can affect a worker’s
performance in many different ways varying from health damage to effects that reduce the
individual’s ability to perform a task or those that cause dissatisfaction and uncooperative attitudes.

The scope of ergonomics includes physical work load, posture at work, lifting and carrying,
machine-human system interaction, but also lighting, thermal comfort and noise. It deals with the
assessment of human’s capabilities and limitations, work and environmental stress, static and
dynamic forces on the human body structure, fatigue, etc. Manual material handling is one of work
activities that have an effect on the physical aspect of workers in manufacturing industry. 

The ergonomic assessment of burden points helps in understanding the worker’s workability and
material handling status. Research into trolley design began as part of the project related to significant history of worker injury related to manual operations and handling of material. We successfully designed and deployed the trolley into use.

Project work on “Solving Vehicle Routing Problem by the Implementation of Operation Research Tools”. Solved the problem of travelling salesman to successfully save over 20% of cost of distribution incurred to the company.
