I did my inpatient elective rotation at the Department of General Medicine. What set this experience apart were the rare and unique cases I encountered. From 💡penile calciphylaxis (an astonishingly rare 83 reported cases globally) to the 💡right supernumerary kidney with caudal positioning (only 107 cases reported worldwide), and the intriguing Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome - these encounters enriched my clinical acumen and perspective. During this rotation, I was also given opportunity to involve in scholarly activities.

I learned the art of performing a duplex ultrasound of the lower limb and carotid and NST, witnessed the Varithena procedure, PCI, interpreted ECHO results, and honed the vital skill of patient clerking in the outpatient cardiology setting.

I have been a part of a research team for a remote study entitled " Problem and Anxieties of non-Japanese resident living in Japan undergoing COVID-19 situation: A cross-sectional survey". My role was to recruit Malaysians residing in Nagasaki, Japan, prepare the questionnaire in Malay and analyze the data.
