Bright Future Lab

Bright Future Lab is an educational organisation that enables people to learn to understand the Blue Economy philosophy. It provides tools to work with it practically, e.g. to apply it to (new) projects, neighbourhoods or start-ups or to make existing companies more sustainable. The objective of Bright Future Lab is to inspire people and to inform them about the Blue Economy in order to undertake action together. •	Maintained constructive dialogues with Dutch stock listed companies (visited >20 AGMs) based on projects and research on sustainability issues
•	Researched for Natural Value Initiative (partnership of Flora and Fauna International, Nyenrode Business University, UNEP FI and VBDO) by applying the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Benchmark for 8 companies within extractive industry 
•	Organised >15 multi stakeholder dialogues on sustainability for BAM, KPN, Ordina, Qurius, Redevco, USG People, Vodafone and VNCI
•	Coordinated the yearly Responsible Supply Chain Benchmark on 40 Dutch multinationals (3x)
•	Coordinated research and the organisation of a multi stakeholder conference on the operationalisation of Prof. John Ruggie’s Framework for Business and Human Rights in CSR policies of companies and investors (3x)
•	Member of Steering Committee of VBDO Analyst Network where financial and ESG analysts meet to share experiences on the link between sustainability and (financial) value
•	Coordinated the development of the website (www.duurzaamaandeel.nl) that provides private investors a clear overview of the role sustainability plays for Dutch stock listed companies and also stimulates interaction between those companies and private investors.
