I began my professional career in proprietary trading of derivative instruments, where I got my first step into the world of finance. Trading the largest market in the world by volume (Eurodollar futures, Fed Funds futures and US Treasury bonds) brought out my curiosity to understand financial markets. At my current stint, I work in the Index team, providing data-driven rule-based indices as well as customized indices in the debt market segment. The rise of passive (and smart-beta) investing combined with deepening capital markets is transforming the investment landscape. Quant-driven strategies and funds are making waves with the development of more technological analysis tools. Over last few years I've been following the blockchain and crypto industry, which I believe will form the foundations of the upcoming digital technological revolution. It brings to us the power to democratize and decentralise institutions, bridging the widespread inequality gap. I manage my own investment portfolio (growing step-by-step) investing in equity and crypto-assets. My interests range from investment (both crypto & equity) management, learning about web 3.0, value-driven societies, undiscovered power of the human brain, and creating equal opportunities regardless of one's socio-economic status.
