My art blog- www.heartatart.blogspot.com began as a means to find an outlet for a strong but passive hobby-sketching. Some events in life made me revisit this activity with greater zeal and enthusiasm and in 2010 I attempted painting for the first time long after being exposed to it in school.  Over time, I discovered this is a strong passion that is very closely linked to the essence of my personality and I am working hard to make improvements. The blog - www.heartatart.blogspot.com now has over 200 portraits of prominent personalities. My works have been appreciated by influential people on social media and have also found place in a book published by Taschen. I actively ideate, research and write content for different kinds of projects across education, pharmaceuticals, insurance, banking and other sectors. I have worked on projects that use technologies such as augmented and virtual reality, addressing different training needs. I also stay updated about emerging technologies and make suggestions for improved familiarity around these in the organisation. I am well-versed with writing for different formats including traditional WBT (web-based training) as well as interactive formats. I have a keen interest in emerging media such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality and have been involved in knowledge-seeking and knowledge-sharing initiatives. My creative inclinations enable me contribute to in-house magazine content.

I am part of the content function. I ideate and script storyboards that are developed into elearning modules for clients across various sectors such as education, banking, shipping etc. I have reviewed graphic assets and integrated products for an education project. The scripting is done based on research and content provided by the client or the subject matter expert to us. While scripting a storyboard, one has to provide the voice, text and visual elements or references so that these could be used to develop an engaging audio-visual module. For one project, I played the role of an internal subject matter expert (SME), helping colleagues resolve queries on the subject matter. The project involved developing professional courses for aspiring management students.

At Rite Verses Pvt. Ltd, I was part of the content team that worked on developing marketing collaterals, annual reports and website content. I worked closely with colleagues from the graphics department to brief them on the content strategy so as to enable them work out a design approach that blended well for the solution. I was part of face-to-face meetings and telephonic conferences with clients.

At mergermarket I reported on likely M&A deals in the consumer, FMCG, telecom and media sectors. I conducted telephonic interviews and one-on-one interactions with industry professionals to identify futuristic deals and opportunities that could be of value to our subscriber base.

I worked with Hindustan Times, initially as a reporter and later, as a senior reporter. I covered the FMCG, Media, Advertising and Branding beats, regularly reporting news stories on developments in these areas. I contributed to the feature pages for Media as well as Advertising with feature stories on trends in the sectors.

This was my first stint in journalism. I learnt the basics of reporting and wrote news and feature stories for the portal- www.exchange4media.com. I tried my best to identify story ideas, get approval from seniors and quickly work towards news stories in the advertising, marketing and media world that would be of value to key decision makers in our subscriber base. I covered the FMCG, consumer, media, advertising and entertainment sectors. I closely tracked these sectors, attending all events of significance and meeting key professionals to work out interesting news, feature and analysis pieces. 
I joined as a correspondent and was promoted as a senior correspondent in my stint at Adsert Web Solutions Pvt Ltd.

I have been inclined towards writing since the beginning of my career. My experience spans diverse fields such as journalism, e-learning, publishing and through my stints I have explored different forms of writing such as news writing, feature writing, creative writing and content writing. 

It's an evolving journey that keeps me engaged.
