I am a passionate engineer and MBA with 12+ years of experience working in the energy industry. Revitalising mature oil and gas fields is my forte. My role in reshaping India’s brown field management strategy has been recognised in both national and global platforms. In 2020 I was awarded “Young Achiever of the Year, in the Oil & Gas Industry” for production enhancement by Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry. In 2022 I was recognised (by SPE TWA) as one out of 10 young professionals (in the oil and gas industry) across the world “whose work positively influences and inspires others”. I firmly believe in upskilling myself and adapting to changing requirements for a borderless career that adds value to the organisational role. In 2023 I was awarded Masters with distinction in Mature Field Management by Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. My current role as an upstream research analyst helps me to tread through the commercial aspect of the industry with a technical perspective I strongly agree with Katie Thurmes who said “You can’t do a good job if your job is all you do”. I challenge myself to take up assignments outside work and nurture my interests. I ardently pursue music and other creative art forms to ensure a work life balance. The dismal gender diversity in our industry ranging from Classrooms to Boardrooms encouraged me to motivate more women to take up petroleum engineering as a profession and aspire for leadership roles. I am very passionate about this cause and working diligently with a team of incredible women professionals to materialise the dream of an equal opportunity energy industry.
