I am an impact tech entrepreneur and visionary with an instinct for opportunity and a passion for bettering people's lives by creating innovative products and services. I aim to accelerate social impact by harnessing cutting edge technology and empathetic network. I founded SDI Academy in 2013 to alleviate the challenges migrant workers faced in their daily lives due to their poor command in English communication skills. Having been through similar experiences in my childhood before, It has been my personal conviction that has sparked the initial fire in me which compelled me to step out and take action for this problem at a young age. Over the years, we expanded our services through SDI Global to go beyond Education to cross border Employment. We help employers in the construction, energy, hospitality and marine industry to hire efficiently at scale without the hassle of visa problems. We have also extended our target groups from just Migrant workers in Asia to Australia & NZ, North America and Europe. SDI has been featured in The Straits Times, Channel News Asia, CNBC, Forbes, Prothom Alo etc. Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in a speech mentioned our efforts as an example of how the youth is trying to make a difference in our society.
