Nedschroef Machinery is specialist in the engineering of cold and warm metal forming machines for mass production of fasteners and parts, mainly for the automotive industry worldwide. In the role of R&D Project Manager I take lead in the design and validation of new, innovative machine concepts. We focus on servo driven systems combining high speed and accuracy that extend machine functionality by improved intelligence.

In the fascinating world of robotics and automation research, I worked with aerial manipulators for force-controlled manipulation tasks. Within a home-developed task-based framework, I carried out experiments (real and simulated) with a non-holonomic quadrotor helicopter system, allowing the vehicle to safely get in contact with it's environment for e.g. object picking and/or environment exploration. I also carried out numerous side-projects, e.g. time / energy optimal trajectory generation for quadrotors, also with other mobile robot systems, e.g. demonstrating a human - robot co-manipulation setup for object manipulation. All the work is validated through the participation in numerous international conferences.
