I am a strategic communications professional, expert in communications strategy development, content creation, thought leadership, brand design, partnerships, and public affairs across EMEA and the U.S. I excel at designing integrated strategic communications strategies within complex matrix high-growth technology-driven organisations, that help clients overcome their toughest challenges, tell their stories, and drive outstanding results. As Global Head of Communications at PA Consulting, a private-equity backed innovation and transformation consultancy, I oversee our global portfolio of internal and external communications and research programmes and activities including public relations, content marketing, brand message development, executive leadership, and investor communications. In my spare time, I edit the weekly In/Flight newsletter, tracking the latest in aviation and disruptive technologies. Previously, I managed the content team at Bloomberg Philanthropies, raising the profile of the Foundation’s global innovation portfolio. Before joining Bloomberg, I consulted with the World Bank’s “Science of Delivery Initiative” on improving how the Bank learns from and communicates about public sector service delivery in emerging economies. Earlier, I was a senior case study writer and researcher at Innovations for Successful Societies - a Princeton University policy center - where I traveled globally and helped senior government officials communicate, manage reputations, and build stakeholder consensus. Before that, I was based in Cambodia where I conducted stakeholder mapping of organisations in the country across sectors (public, private, nonprofit), and lived in Uganda where I developed and executed winning internal and external communication strategies for the International Rescue Committee, a major international charity. I hold a bachelor’s degree in politics with honours from Princeton University and a master’s degree from the University of Oxford. I have also taken non-degree courses at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the University of Ghana. In my spare time, I'm a keen aviation enthusiast.
