A small-scale clothing brand focused on producing products which represent the cultures and passions of myself and my co-founder. In addition to selling our own brand products, there was a main focus on dropshipping and the use of social media marketing through the Facebook Advert Manager and Instagram Influencers – helping accumulate over 400 individual orders and a ~3% purchase conversion rate.
My role has included website production, development and SEO, product sourcing, social media marketing and account management, order fulfilment, customer service, design, and development of an order processing automation system.

Nottingham Economics & Finance Society

Part of a team of students trading in Pharmaceuticals markets. This involves meeting weekly to discuss and research where to invest our funds with a view to make a profit. I have gained a greater knowledge of how markets function and got first-hand experience of trading. As of December 2015 we have 2 outstanding investments.

Whilst working at Miroma I worked at various companies within their portfolio shadowing various senior management.

Sport Digital works alongside and represents a large number of athletes and works with them in producing and monetising content for their digital platforms.

My role includes:
- producing strategies and content plans for clients
- seeking new clients and sponsorship opportunities
- brainstorming and developing ideas in order to release the highest quality and most original content
- working closely with clients, agents and sponsors in order to achieve their individual targets

Young Enterprise UK

Participating in the Young Enterprise Award Scheme enabled me to learn some of the skills needed to start and manage your own company. Appointed as a company director of 'Echo Enterprise'​ and our product "Penny's 50 Firsts"​ (a children's book aimed to engage and allow children to learn about key historical "first" events) I was entrusted to a key role which included managing our company agenda and business plan, organising commercial trade fairs and communicating with suppliers. I gained sales experience at various public events as well as presentation skills in more formal settings (such as KPMG and Hertfordshire University) as we progressed to the East of England finals – winning notable awards at every stage.

It's an incredible moment for the brand, but as every founder knows… getting on the shelf is only half the job

While we were filming, we saw it first-hand...

People heading straight to the freezer, glancing at PACK'D, and then picking Tesco’s own brand instead

But that’s the challenge we love and why we're here!
