Working with clients primarily within the Department of Defense and intelligence community to fix or automate business processes with SharePoint.  I use client-side scripting with CSS, HTML, and JS to enhance out of the box functionality of the platform, but focus mostly on getting the information architecture right to ensure a faster delivery of a quality product that can get reused throughout the organization.  Thinking enterprise-wide adoption of every application I create helps to create solutions other organizations within the agencies I support.  

In addition, I train all of the other SharePoint analysts and developers to keep their skills ready for the next challenge and the ever changing SharePoint platform.  I'm always looking for sharp minds to add to the team.

SharePoint Information Architect

•  Designed, built, and documented applications for an Army client on a SharePoint 2010 platform.  Applications included many tracking systems, an electronic filing system for all human resource files on each soldier, a Common Access Card (CAC) request system, a redesign of the conference room booking application, a physical fitness competition system, and others.
•  Wrote the governance for two SharePoint farms and refocused it as the client consuming the service rather than providing the service, separating out the roles and responsibilities of the business units from the information technology unit.
•  Re-engineered the information architecture and permission architecture to fall in line with that new governance.
•  Trained the SharePoint farm administrators and developers as well as the business users on how to use many functions available in SharePoint, permissions, workflows, and design.
•  Aided the engineers in the migration to another farm hosted by a different organization and its immediate upgrade to SharePoint 2013.

SharePoint Analyst

•  Designed, developed, and led the implementation of a financial tracking system for DISA with hundreds of dashboards, saving the agency over $250,000 a year in O&M costs.
•  Rewrote the SharePoint governance.
•  Created a Sequestration Knowledge Portal for the DISA workforce on short notice that got 49,000 hits in its first 30 days.
•  Created and executed plans to structure numerous site collections due to the reorganization of multiple directorates with DISA.
•  Often spoke at the KM COI as an authoritative source of information and gave instruction in weekly SharePoint training sessions.

Knowledge Management Engineer

•  Provided project management support to the government client (the U.S. Army Central Clearance Facility) and to the Microsoft Consulting Services team for all Microsoft projects and other projects that could affect the Microsoft projects as desired.  Manage all project data for 15+ projects.
•  Supported other contractors and vendors on behalf of the client, often leading meetings and facilitating the projects’ completion in lieu of government management.
•  Assisted the Information Support Division (ISD) for the U.S. Army Central Clearance Facility in moving to a better operational state, using ITIL and MOF for its basis.
•  Lead a three-person team to provide tier-two and tier-three support for each of the Clearance Adjudication Tracking Systems (CATS), custom Microsoft-developed .Net applications currently in production for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Washington Headquarters Service, the Department of Energy, and the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO).
•  Liaised with Force 3 on behalf of the government client for its continuity of operations (COOP) project.
•  Solely managed three HP Storage Array Networks (SANs) and four HP blade enclosures.
•  Maintained two Microsoft Office SharePoint Server farms, including the DOD Gateway that Microsoft Consulting Services customized for security managers to retrieve data from the CATS applications.
•  Processed application requests for the DOD Gateway and managed accounts.
•  Provided all systems administration for the DOD network and much of the Army network at CCF to support CATS, the DOD Gateway, and other Microsoft projects.
•  Created and edited necessary documentation in conjunction with duties by creating the change logs in MOSS and creating wikis and sites to support knowledge management.
