Assisting with recruitment by:
+ Providing full range of recruiting and selection services to city management to meet approved staffing needs, including but not limited to candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
+ Serving as primary point-of-contact for assigned departments. Establishing and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.  Developing and implementing innovative strategies to identify, attract, and hire high quality employees.
+ Conferring with department management regarding recruitment requests; obtains specific information about the position(s) from the hiring supervisor/manager and collaboratively develops the recruitment plan. Actively researches and identifies sources of prospective candidates; drafts job announcements, advertisements, and other recruitment materials.
+ Fully utilizing automation to coordinate and conduct recruitment and selection process including scheduling, advertising, reviewing applicant qualifications, and testing; locates qualified individuals to serve on oral boards; prepare written tests and compile test results; oversee, conduct, and participate in interview process; make job offers to selected candidates.
+ Assisting departments and hiring managers with developing appropriate screening criteria and interview questions; coordinates and facilitates the interview process. Participating in developing exam questions and validation options. Maintaining exam and interview question database. 
+ Providing career counseling to city employees; informs employees of career development and promotional and educational opportunities.
+ Establishing, promoting, and maintaining positive working relationships with community partners including other public agencies, universities and vocational schools, trade associations, search firms and temporary agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Human Resources Analyst

Southern Nevada Health District

+ Responsible for performing professional and supervisory duties related to the payroll, human resources, labor relations, safety, benefits, recruitment, employee health, worker’s compensation, training, compensation and other operations of the Human Resources Office.
+ Exercises supervision over Human Resources professionals, technical and clerical staff.
+ Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of professional, technical and office support staff providing human resources services; resolve workplace problems; monitors work flow; review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.

+ Ensures compliance with all federal and state statutes related to Human Resources functions.
+ Conducts special studies and investigations as assigned.
+ Attends and participates in a variety of professional group meetings and conferences; answer inquiries relating to human resources services; represents the Department as required. 
+ Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.

Human Resources Supervisor

+ Performing a variety of complex and difficult professional level personnel duties related to one or more functional areas within a centralized human resources system
+ Performing lead activities in human resource analysis and program development involving personnel and labor relation matters and responds to and resolves department concerns 
+ Coordinating and administering employee benefit programs as a back to up the Senior Human Resources Analyst/Employee Experience
+ Providing advise, consultation and information to departmental managers, supervisors and employees regarding discipline and related personnel rules, policies and procedures
+ Acting as a project leader on small or large human resource studies; lead, plan and review the work of assigned project staff
+ Researching current trends and practices pertaining to labor relations; analyzing legislation, arbitration decisions and labor contracts to determine the potential impact on the District and its labor relations program; updating HR Leadership monthly on Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Employment Law updates
+ Preparing reports, correspondence and a variety of written materials; prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation of activities
+ Analyzing procedures and practices and recommend improvements through consolidation, teamwork or automation
+ Ensuring all new supervisors, managers and directors receive training on CBA and Personnel Code 
+ Conducting research and provide analytics/recommendations to support the bargaining process
+ Managing the bargaining process by ensuring meetings are scheduled, notes are taken, and all information is properly updated for meetings. Partner with the Director of HR and OD in order to ensure bargaining is successful
+ Training professional technical HR staff to conduct employment investigations and write proper investigatory reports

Senior Human Resources Analyst

+ Administrating,  investigating  and  settling  of  violation  complaints  in  regards  to  collective bargaining  agreement
+ Attending  meetings  and  training  sessions/classes  on  employer/employee  relations
