Assisting with recruitment by:
+ Providing full range of recruiting and selection services to city management to meet approved staffing needs, including but not limited to candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
+ Serving as primary point-of-contact for assigned departments. Establishing and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.  Developing and implementing innovative strategies to identify, attract, and hire high quality employees.
+ Conferring with department management regarding recruitment requests; obtains specific information about the position(s) from the hiring supervisor/manager and collaboratively develops the recruitment plan. Actively researches and identifies sources of prospective candidates; drafts job announcements, advertisements, and other recruitment materials.
+ Fully utilizing automation to coordinate and conduct recruitment and selection process including scheduling, advertising, reviewing applicant qualifications, and testing; locates qualified individuals to serve on oral boards; prepare written tests and compile test results; oversee, conduct, and participate in interview process; make job offers to selected candidates.
+ Assisting departments and hiring managers with developing appropriate screening criteria and interview questions; coordinates and facilitates the interview process. Participating in developing exam questions and validation options. Maintaining exam and interview question database. 
+ Providing career counseling to city employees; informs employees of career development and promotional and educational opportunities.
+ Establishing, promoting, and maintaining positive working relationships with community partners including other public agencies, universities and vocational schools, trade associations, search firms and temporary agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Human Resources Analyst

Southern Nevada Health District

+ Responsible for performing professional and supervisory duties related to the payroll, human resources, labor relations, safety, benefits, recruitment, employee health, worker’s compensation, training, compensation and other operations of the Human Resources Office.
+ Exercises supervision over Human Resources professionals, technical and clerical staff.

+ Performing a variety of complex and difficult professional level personnel duties related to one or more functional areas within a centralized human resources system
