7 week contract as a digital designer working on Shop Direct brands Very and Littlewoods. The majority of the work involved producing banners and social media stories for the website and app. I was also brought in on a direct-mail print design project delivering four styles for a cross department promotion.

Over the course of two years at Rapid News Group I have been elevated to the position of TCT Group Marketing Manager, overseeing the company’s flagship brand of 3D printing events in the UK, China, Korea, Germany and the US. The role requires me to liaise regularly with various stakeholders, from members of the production, content, conference and sales teams, to venues, partners, printers, sponsors, media partners and the Chief Executive. I manage all branding for the events and oversee the production of print, digital and video marketing for the shows, as well as social media and e-marketing.

Event Sales Manager for one of Rapid’s growing life sciences events Med-Tech Innovation Expo, which required me to manage exhibition space sales and sponsorships, as well as the day-to-day marketing of the event in order to drive its growth. 

I was given this opportunity on the back of my success as Senior Sales Executive on Rapid’s biggest show Interplas, a triennial trade show for the plastics industry.

Over the course of my six years at Chester Group, I was deeply involved in managing events for the high performance home audio/entertainment and technology industry, producing some 30 consumer shows in the UK, US, Australia, Canada and Sweden.  I was involved in keeping the event branding fresh and engaging and attracting wider audiences using digital and traditional marketing, as well as managing the budget for marketing.
