HSBC Bank

After gaining my qualification with Sheffield Hallam University, I was employed for approx 12 years by HSBC Bank, at their Sheffield IT Head office.

Roles covered during my employment were Senior Software Engineering / Software Tester / Systems Analyst.

I worked with technologies such as Wills and Probate, Business and Personal Internet Banking, Pensions, Email Infrastructure and Encryption technology.

Within the various teams that I worked with, I was classed as a technology specialists and often worked with global teams. Within the roles, whilst responsible software design and production, I also had exposure to training roles, helping to train teams of up to 20 personnel large.
