Nourishing Networks Consortium

Nourishing Networks transforms local communities into empowered action groups that find, and then solve crucial basic human needs problems in their communities.  

Each Nourishing Network local group maximizes the impact and efficiencies of passionate volunteers, service agencies, government agencies, faith communities, school districts, neighborhood associations; making connections, building strong relationships between them and solving local community problems in ways that have never been possible before.

Generating agendas from the grassroots level, Nourishing Network groups create a safe space, a gracious, non-hierarchical space that builds trust, is inclusive of all voices, diversely representative of all people, equitably engaging everyone in creating sustainable solutions to basic human needs  problems they identify. 

Currently Nourishing Networks groups are located on Seattle's Eastside communities; Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton, Issaquah, Redmond, Woodinville, Kenmore, Bothell, with over 2300 people actively engaged with their communities, day after day, month after month, year after year. They keep coming back because helping people on a local level works.  It builds community, and personal trust bonds. Actively helping people directly, building compassion for local basic human needs issues beyond the headlines and on the human to human level makes everyone better.

Managed and lead the company's vast array of CD and online products in development including; the Blues Clues Series, major Junior Adventures Putt Putt, Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish, Spy Fox, and the Backyard Sports Series Baseball, Football, Soccer, as well as the building of the Cavedog Entertainment label and its subsequent title releases, “Total Annihilation”, and “Kingdoms”

Managed and lead the company’s Internet games business and development efforts including  ‘Boneyards’ for the Cavedog Entertainment label, and the ‘Junior Sports Network’ for Humongous Entertainment, and all web sites.  During this time, we grew the development departments of Humongous and Cavedog from 60 to 350 people.  
Served on the Atari (Infogrames) Publishing Board, contributing to product development and deployment strategies of the entire Atari array of brands and studios.

Hired development teams, programmers, artists, designers, writers, producers to create prototypes and final releasable products for company brands • Lead development of Castle Infinity, the first massively multiplayer game featuring a rich cartoon environment on the PC for kids 8-12yrs • Developed concepts for several broadband network prototypes for such partners as Disney, ESPN Sports Center, Ticketmaster, and Time Warner.

Created the 15 person Infinite Laser Dog development team to fulfill company objectives -- profitable products for a variety of console platforms • Created the Take a Break series beginning with Pinball for Windows 3.0• Designed sequels to the adventure game series, Rise of the Dragon, the action title Stellerfire, and the PC-CD and Sega CD versions of The Adventures of Willy Beamish-- critically acclaimed as the first “Talking PC Title” (Computer Gaming World).
