We leverage Lean/Six Sigma and other techniques applied to clinical pathways to improve healthcare delivery.  I led a team that worked in a large number of hospitals in the United States, Europe and Asia.  The results were measured improvements in patient satisfaction, staff engagement and financial savings.

We worked in hospitals with sometimes challenging cultures and using Human Centered Design techniques, engaged those teams.  Documented successes:

- Outreach and Marketing plan that drove a 24% increase in annual TJR volume in an east coast system
- Reduction in turnaround times from averages of 47 minutes to 18 in a large vertically integrated West Coast system.
- Average benchmark increase in staff satisfaction 22% in 24 U.S. hospitals
- Reduction from standard 7 tray knee system to 2 1/2 custom trays that met AORN standards for weight and reduced case complexity for scrub techs.
- Completed the perioperative redesign at the largest hospital in Spain with a 33% increase in daily cases.
- Brought postoperative care methodologies to Japan and decreased LOS in an orthopedic specialty hospital by 66%

Had multiple responsibilities including eBusiness, Lean/Six Sigma and Commercial Analytics.  Led the design of a new data strategy for a $3B infused biologic.  The drug had multiple indications in Rheum, Gastro and Derm.  Some key successes:

- Took a development assignment in Supply Chain to upgrade our SAP system and optimize the batch management process for a multi billion dollar biologic.  Included managing a global effort with a budget of $17M with a highly complex supply chain.  Our team delivered an extra batch of drug that year resulting in an additional $56M in revenue.
- Led the redesign of our commercial analytics platform.  Vastly reduced duplicate customer records from disparate data sources, reduced cycle time from 5 weeks post close to 2 weeks while managing a $4.5M project budget.
- Played the key role in negotiating our main data contract and saving 21% from prior agreement.  This equated to a savings for the organization of $2.8M.
