Arvada Senior High School

Worked 15 hours each week in the Accredited Cooperative Education (ACE) program assisting students with all core lab classes, English, Math, Social Studies, Science and Career Education.
Tutored a caseload of 40 to 50 students resulting in greater student retention and encouraging seniors to graduate; resulted in increasing graduation rate by 5% to 10%.
Serve as liaison between Counselor and students, resulting in organizing and finalizing graduation plans.  Serve as mentor to students.
Assist administration with students, serving as mediator between teacher, students and administration to maintain conflict management and resolve issues.

Conducted individual counseling for 7th and 8th grade students resulting in conflict resolution for social, emotional issues which included the special needs population.
Developed and implemented an 8-week curriculum of a weekly self-esteem counseling group for girls.
Assisted Site Assessment Coordinator (SAC) with organizing and sending Colorado Student's Assessment Program (CSAP) materials for the No Child Left Behind Program.
