Starting Polly and leading the company as the CEO was one of the most rewarding and hardest experiences of my life. Building a product, a company, a team, and a vision - all from scratch - and then having investors, employees, advisors, partners, and customers to join me on that vision has been incredibly humbling.

I gained more fulfillment from building Polly than I ever thought possible, and through it found more resilience in me than I ever thought existed.

As the CEO, I led with Product and a Product Vision to help solve customer needs. I became an expert in Communication/Collaboration ecosystems and platforms, as we developed close partnerships with Slack, Zoom, Microsoft, Atlassian, and others. Led our product, pricing and packaging, and GTM efforts as we scaled the company up to millions of users and millions in revenue, becoming one of the largest apps in the Future of Work ecosystem.

Raised over $13M in Venture Capital from top investors like Madrona, Amplify Partners, Slack, Zoom, Fathom, and other investors. Sourced, nurtured, and closed top tier Enterprise customers at 5 and 6-figure deals, including Intuit, DraftKings, Zendesk, Expedia, Microsoft, Twitter, Slack, Spotify, DocuSign, and dozens of others.

Projected Talent was a micro-internship marketplace, connecting undergrad students to employers on paid projects, relevant to their degrees.

The company lasted only 6 months, but was an incredible crash course in building something from nothing, figuring how to deliver true value to customers, and relying on you and your team's hustle to make the impossible happen.

The company went from idea to product and real revenue in 3 weeks. By month 2 we already had over $50k paid out to students in micro-internships. Projected Talent went on to win the 2014 University of Washington Business Plan Competition.

Product owner for Battery life across Windows Operating System and Windows devices
- Part of the initial 20 person team that kicked off the Microsoft Surface project at Microsoft
- Led PM effort across battery life initiatives for all Windows devices for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
- Led power onboarding efforts with multi-billion dollar partnerships with Intel, Qualcomm and nVidia
- Drove cross-windows and cross-Microsoft efforts reduce performance/power impact on Windows battery life, requiring significant stakeholder management across the biggest software product in the world
- Owned and drove action items from a monthly Windows Battery Life Report delivered to Windows, Office, and External Partner Executives

Windows Performance Team

Part of the 5-member founding team that produced PerfTrack - a performance telemetry tool that helped revolutionize performance tracking in Windows. PerfTrack was largely responsible for the performance improvements between Windows Vista and Windows 7.  

PerfTrack was awarded the Microsoft Engineering Excellence award in 2010 for its contributions to Windows 7 (awarded to one Engineering team at Microsoft that year).

Led efforts to support unicode characters on Tyco Safety's largest Fire Panel Product (4100U), which led to expansion into International Markets, helping driving millions in incremental revenue for the company.
