I have joined the team to help provide financial leadership in terms of operations and systems, fundraising, cost management, and entering new markets with the support of the already embedded internal finance team, as well as provide support to the current board and C Suite.

CARPE OMNIA is a premium e-commerce menswear fashion brand. Set up in 2018, the brand has grown from select pieces to a whole lifestyle range with sales from all over the globe.

As part of my role as CFO, I support the management team by running the finance function, support with cash-flow management, help with international tax and finance, support funding, ensure tax compliance and overall business strategy.

Founded in 2021, TheIrishBusinessAdviser's mission is to help entrepreneurs build better businesses. We specialise in eCommerce, Agencies, and creatives such as YouTubers and Instagrammers. By combining our International Tax Experience, our passion for helping entrepreneurs and our technology skills we help business owners level up and build better businesses. We work mainly with clients in Ireland and the UK but have clients globally such as Australia, Spain and Slovakia to name a few.

We do this by providing CFO-type services to clients, taking ownership of the finance function of the business using cloud-based technology. We set up digital finance functions for businesses which means no more paper, more efficient bookkeeping, more clarity on the numbers, a best in class finance function and more time for business owners to do what they do best.

As part of our service we provide a dedicated director to each an every client which helps provide leadership and finance acumen at the fraction of the cost of a full-time finance director/CFO.

Miconex Ireland

Miconex is a UK headquartered FinTech company with operations in the UK, the US, Canada and Ireland. I joined Miconex in October 2020 when they were looking to enter the Irish market. I was tasked to help set up the operations here in Ireland and develop a team on the ground. Since entering the market in late 2020, we have had continued success with a number of programmes live and having great success in promoting local economies. I continue to oversee the Irish operations with support from the head office in the UK.

We have recently launched a digital gifting card for towns and cities. The new card will work through the Mastercard network and digital wallet services such as Apple Pay, and is Miconex's latest initiative alongside EML Payments Limited.

Miconex, founded in 2010, work with towns and cities across the UK, Ireland, the US and Canada to help support successful local economies.  The programmes are designed to lock in money for participating businesses, drive footfall and stimulate additional economic activity.

I worked as a Group Tax Manager for ARYZTA, an international food business with a leadership position in frozen B2B bakery. ARYZTA’s customer channels consist of a mix of large retail, convenience and independent retail, Quick Serve Restaurants (‘QSR’) and other foodservice categories. 

Part of my role involved acting as Financial Controller for a number of the Groups financing entities across Europe.

Group Tax Reporting Accountant reporting to Group Tax Reporting Director and Global Head of Tax. Responsibilities include:

- Assistance with monthly reporting of global tax audits/queries and overseeing that same are being addressed in accordance with Group Policy. 
- Review and updates to internal tax policy documents.
- Preparation of year end tax provisions.
- Assistance with cross-border M&A Projects including tax efficient structuring and Tax Due Diligence.
