We have also specific focus on Youth Education and are engaged in 2 initiatives Youth Tech (Cyprus) and Work in Fintech (UK).  For community engagement purposes we founded Future Meta Leaders and Executives' Club Cyprus.

Hyperion Systems Engineering Group

Initially took over the global sales manager role for Simulation BU of Hyperion Systems Engineering. After an acquisition by RSI Group (France), I was in charge of sales for HyperionRSI Simulation Ltd with the focus on the GCC countries (mainly Saudi, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE) targeting major players in the process industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals and chemicals. The main responsibilities were the new accounts acquisition. Cross-sold new company consulting offering which eventually grew to a contract worth over $800k.

OpenText

Was employed to develop Resonate KT's (now OpenText) direct sales for software licenses, maintenance and services. Built and managed the internal direct sales team of 3. Day-to-day sales activities included cold calls, managing the sales lifecycle (incl. upsell, cross-sell, repeat business), growing the existing accounts. First contract was secured in record-time of just under 2 months (typical sales cycle's 12-16 months). Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, I also identified the areas of improvement in the existing sales techniques and introduced approaches that reduced sales cycles. Acted as a senior company representative at the annual global event in Orlando, Florida.

Following the successful launch and establishment of the on-line division, I was promoted to lead the Group's business development activities across all the divisions. Primarily, I was responsible for identifying and helping to exploit brand new and clearly profitable commercial opportunities. Introduced bespoke event services and single-handedly negotiated and closed 2 largest and most profitable deals in company's history worth over £100,000 each with Capgemini and Mitsubishi Electric. I continued to manage and grow the existing accounts and acquire new ones across the WTG events and on-line portfolios bringing over £1.5m annually on personal figures. Oversaw the sponsorship revenue generation performance of 4 divisional managers and 28 sales executives. Designed and led sales training sessions and overtook the closing of large value deals for the sales executives.

Group Head of Business Development EMEA

After several unsuccessful attempts to grow an on-line venture, I was put in charge of the on-line divisional sales. After cherry-picking and training a team of 3 sales people, our division secured over £500,000 sponsorship revenue  within 5 months with the likes of Siemens, Capgemini, Oracle, SAP, Rockwell Automation, PA Consulting, etc. making it the most profitable venture in the Group's product portfolio.

HEAD OF ON-LINE SALES 

Starting as a Sales Executive recruited for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing division, I rapidly developed a relationship with C-level individuals within both blue-chip and mid-sized companies that had offerings applicable to other divisions within the group. I consistently generated sponsorship revenue in excess of £750,000 annually. Was promoted to the assistant manager and made responsible for training, second voicing and closing the deals for 6 sales representatives.

🎰 Gaming conferences are taking place in the most extraordinary locations with companies organizing unique events attended by famous people, celebrities and C-level executives

🤝 Despite almost perfect networking environments, opportunities for genuine connections are missed simply because people’s cultures, values and communication styles are not being respected nor understood. 

🇮🇹🇨🇾 On my recent trip to Rome, I’ve learnt that Southern Italians share same genetic profiles with Cypriot Greeks due to ancient Greek colonization. This info is guaranteed to be received better at a social setting rather than very common “let’s get smashed”
