Working alongside Total E&P on the Moho Bilondo project in the Congo. Checking all P.S.M's are carried out as per procedure, manuals are of the latest revision, input information required into the SAP system which includes any FNCR's that require actioned upon. Assist, when required, that costs are controlled and documented in a timely manner.

Report to the F.S.M on a daily basis that will concern the following. Procedures are adhered to and signed off, data bases are kept current, quotes and P.O's are allocated, allocation of offshore personnel, ensuring they are prepared for travel and that they are aware of the operation they will conduct. Liaise with the service department for the aforementioned.
Attend in house and client meetings, attend conference calls as standard and dealing with personnel worldwide  due to the level of activity.

Field Service Coordinator

Traveling to various locations worldwide to assist the client, Field Service Manager and Technical Service Personnel in a shore based role. The position consists of the following.

Providing technical support for the Field Service Manager and the TSP’s on all ongoing Subsea Drilling, Completions, Interventions and work-over’s. Ensuring the correct procedures are up to date and revised if required and are also supplied to the TSP's. Main contact for the TSP's when they are offshore and providing Technical back up for ongoing work both on and offshore. Attend morning calls, engineering, client post and pre job meetings internally and externally. Provide Pre and Post Job Briefs for the TSP’s check daily reports and the Filed Service Reports are completed in accordance with our high standards and that they are electronically stored.

Document any relevant information into the SAP system which will include any notifications that will be required and followed up with the relevant department for review if it is necessary. 


Ensure the correct equipment / tooling being sent to the rig complies with the FMC quality system. Organize make-ups for rental equipment / tooling, FMC and customer owned equipment. Prepare written work scopes for customer owned equipment to insure the work required is carried out for repairs/testing etc, going through the workshop.
Liaise with the customer and FMC Service Department on manning levels for each project and update the Service department with any issues that may have arisen and assist with the department to ensure this is highlighted and discussed so key parties are made aware of any changes, ideas for future reference.

Started my employment with DQ in 2009, the role consists of the following.
Deployment of the Service Engineer to world wide locations for the purpose of equipment installation on various rigs.
Ensuring that the pre & post job briefings are conducted so as the engineer is aware of the job he or she, is going out to, including all H.S.E issues that may occur.

Holding weekly internal meetings so as all staff are aware on what is expected for the upcoming week. Conduct monthly H.S.E internal meetings for the Service Engineers so as they are aware of any important safety critical items they are not aware of.
Distribution of Field Service Bulletins and Memos to Engineers.
Activity and rig spread sheet status are updated daily and weekly so as invoices can be processed.

Yearly appraisals are conducted; survivals, visas and medicals are kept up to date.
Attend customer meetings when required, i.e. pre spud and advisory meetings.
In house training courses are allocated to the Engineer that requires them this is in conjunction with the Training Instructor, and also monitor the progress.
Reports are monitored to ensure a high standard is kept as these might be required years later.

Ensuring costs are kept to a standard that is acceptable, i.e. expenses, PPE, flights, hotels.
Liaise with the sales and project departments for current and future work which includes 
well review meetings so as to ensure all equipment/tooling is on the sales orders.

Field Service Supervisor

Initially worked offshore on SubSea equipment, MS 700, SG V, wide range of pipework & connections. Assisted, on occasion, with Surface Equipment. Also involved with tie back projects.
Worked in the North Sea at the beginning. After 2 years worked overseas, mostly in West Africa. Travelling to different parts of the world, gaining more experience on working environments, cultures, also worked with a wide range of client’s.
Worked in the Gulf of Mexico, to assist personnel on the MS 700 System, in the workshop, and offshore.  

Initially went to Malabo in 2003 for Exxonmobil on the GSF 135 rig running SG 5 wellhead system, c/w tubing hanger adaptor sleeve, maintain equipment, checking and updating consumables when necessary.

Became the Integrated Service Coordinator in 2006 in Malabo for Noble Energy which included liaising with the client on tooling / equipment that needed to be prepared for each project. Trouble shooting if and when required with the tooling / equipment. Keep communications ongoing with Houston, Luanda and Aberdeen. 

Operations Coordinator in Malabo, which was running the base.
Assisting all the clients on technical and logistical support. Ensuring the tools / equipment is maintained and service history is updated. Attend pre spud meetings.
Dealing with the logistical side and invoicing, local taxes, looking after the welfare of the personnel, Expat and Nationals.  Dealing with tax issues, safety, forecasts for budgets that will be required, government issues that may arise, preparation of visas and L.O.I.’s when required. Had an excellent rapport with all the clients I worked alongside with whilst in Malabo.
