Craft campaigns to recruit lifesaving donors to the stem cell register through digital platforms and take particular interest in targeting and working with specific protected characteristics to ensure everyone with blood cancer and disorders can find a match.

Use insights and run tests to develop future insights, alongside agency partners, interpreting data and analytics to help the charity maximise its budget for register recruitment.

Significantly contribute to content creation across Tiktok, Meta, Snapchat and more to engage key audiences, specialising in memes and leading on an all-new on trend Tiktok campaign with over half a million impressions a week.

Digital Marketing Officer

Generated countless pieces of inventive digital, physical and email marketing for student-run volunteer groups, supporting the recruitment of more than five thousand new donors to the stem cell register and raising over £21,000 in just three months.

Expanded the reach and future potential of youth engagement at the charity through constructing strong relationships in various ways such as developing links in 6 new locations, supporting 3 new volunteer groups onboard into existing programmes and pioneering the relaunch of a school-age volunteer project that will reach hundreds of schools in the next calendar year.

Collaborated with 3 teams beyond my defined role to develop meaningful messaging for online and grassroots donor recruitment projects, targeting young and minority ethnic background men, establishing greater clarity regarding interactions with key communities.

Oversaw social media accounts and content production for personal brands and businesses. Streamlining workloads for go-getters, helping clients grow through strategy and consistency. Producing high-level copy for customers across various niches, from supplements to radio networks.

Negotiated four and five figure contracts and managed client relations as a social media marketing manager, to develop high quality content for 7 businesses.

Collaborated with 3 agency-based teams and co-ordinated freelancers across 4 continents to successfully engage with target audiences in predominantly health, entertainment and lifestyle markets.

Providing a "face of the university" service in various capacities, including but not limited to: Open Days, Tours, delivering online workshops and supporting incoming visitors/schools etc.

Researching existing good practices and areas for improvement across the faculty to create a report, suggesting how to move forward.

Used digital platforms to increase engagement and volunteer numbers at the Darnall Allotment Project, a community initiative under Darnall Well Being.

Strengthened the online presence, leading to an increase of social media engagement by 824% by the local community.

Liaised with 4 stakeholders to ensure a sustainable volunteer flow to support the maintenance of the allotment site.

Loud and Clear Sheff

Created a platform for independent commentary and perspectives during the first U.K. lockdown of COVID-19.

Managed to regularly produce and oversee articles that achieved more than 1000 views.

Run by three undergrads, fed up of paywalls and monotonous viewpoints, Loud and Clear provided unique voices a soapbox to stand upon and share insight into topics beyond the news.

I am an innovative, passionate and hardworking individual, currently enjoying my time as the Digital Campaign Associate at The Sunrise Project. By building campaigns, I seek to stop the use of fossil fuels and the development of new fossil fuel projects through targeting financial institutions.

After becoming a first class graduate in Politics and International Relations, I achieved a distinction in an MPH in International Development, both at the University of Sheffield. I have special interests in Climate Change, Global Political Economy, Race Politics, Social Inclusion and Health. Alongside my studies, I worked as a Copywriting and Virtual Assistance Freelancer. This is all whilst I built up an extensive background in the charity and volunteering sector.

I also occasionally write a personal blog regarding Race Politics, Development and Political Economy.
