As the Branch Manager, I was responsible for the training and development of personnel with regards to career development and the execution of training and operations. I worked closely with the staff to implement plans. The branch consisted of instructors who specialized in training other units. Essentially, this was equivalent to being a program manager over project managers. Each training iteration required detailed planning for complex training packages. We developed project management plans that needed to conform to schedule, cost and scope requirements.
