Hi 👋 I’m a product builder that always seeks to add value and make an impact. I get a thrill out of talking to our (future) users, learning what we can build to make their (working) lives better, and balance that with our company objectives. Or, in other words: solving problems in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. I’m currently employed at inSided by Gainsight, a B2B SaaS company connecting Customer Success, Product and Community to truly empower our customers’ customers. My current responsibility as a Senior Product Manager is leading our initiatives to boost engagement on our B2B Community product. So how did I go from being an English language teacher to being a product enthusiast? As a teacher, I was pioneering using edtech in the classroom to better engage my students. I learned that by becoming a strategic edtech consultant for schools, as well as a hands-on trainer, I could reach many more teachers (and through them, more students) by evangelizing educational technology and being active in the edtech community. And that’s where I realized: I want to build these products myself. So in 2017, I pivoted into an edtech SaaS company and went from becoming the first formal PM to leading a team of PMs and designers.
