Lead a Medtech products portfolio for Invisalign providers and patients worldwide. Portfolio team handled all project phases from idea to implementation to commercialization. Projects were cutting edge and leveraging machine learning and mobile technologies.

Align Technology is the company behind Invisalign, the clear braces medical device that is an alternative to metal braces. Invisalign is prescribe by dentists and orthodontists worldwide.
As a Software Director, I ... 
- Managed 3 software development teams in 3 different locations (San Jose CA, Amsterdam and Moscow) which involved a lot of travel.
- Managed the development of custom iPad applications allowing Invisalign Sales teams to promote the brand to Doctors.
- Managed the development of Doctor and Patient facing Invisalign websites globally. Lead web technology migration from Microsoft Sharepoint to Ruby on Rails while drastically speeding up the websites' response time. 
- Established a solid scrum/agile process followed by my 3 software teams to deliver efficient mobile and web projects. 
- Partnered with the different Marketing and Sales teams (US, Europe, Asia, ...) to implement projects and brainstorm new ones using the latest technologies available.

Worked 10 years at Netflix shortly after the company got created. I started as a Software Engineer when the company had few thousand customers and grew to 10 millions when I left. There I managed 3 separate teams of engineers, managers and technical staff to develop, enhance, scale and support applications for 60 warehouses across the country that are shipping millions of DVDs everyday. 
Established an Agile project methodology to execute top projects with high quality in a fast pace environment.

Accomplished software professional with a MS in Electrical Engineering and 30 years of experience in software, mostly in the Silicon Valley. 
I worked during a decade at Netflix where I hired and led the logistic software teams responsible for shipping and returning 3 million DVDs a day in the US. I then spent ten years at Align Technology as a software & product director. There, I led multiple teams worldwide specialized in web, mobile and AI to build cutting edge solutions for Invisalign doctors and patients. 
I then founded Bonsaisoft to develop innovative law enforcement products that optimize operations and elevate the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies across US and Canada. 

I'm holding three patents. I fluently speak English and French and have an intermediate level in Portuguese.
