An IT Engineer by profession, I worked as an engineer for several years, before I transitioned into the field UX Design with the goal of coming closer to the actual users of the software, understanding what their real pain points are and to get an answer to a question I always had 'What goes into building a products like Facebook, JIRA, Spotify that so many people love to use and have become an integral part of their lives'. As a UX Designer, I gained experience in working across multiple domains as niche as Security and Networking, Data Protection in Kubernetes to domains which affect people's life on a day to day basis such as finance, healthcare etc. As a result of this multi-domain experience, I got to experience different user behaviours and different ways in which users think in different problem statements. Working 7 years as a UX Designer, I designed workflows and interactions for simplifying some complex problems. To get more closer to the product strategy moved into the role of a Product Manager to define the solutions, by understanding pain points and then defining solutions to best solve those pain points.
