I am a passionate and driven person who believes in customer service, automation, optimizing processes, especially my own and decisive collaboration across teams and stakeholders. The truth is, your hiring process has an actual cost per person and it requires us both to use our valuable time. Therefore, my transparency here is likely beneficial. I have no narrative to obfuscate my reality. I have a work gap and It does not matter if I am quite smart and resourceful. I have little RECENT evidence. Nonetheless, here is my story In brief. Why wait until the interview?! Before I retrained myself in Supply Chain, my career started as an Air Force Officer until it was sadly cut short. (I can provide details during an interview.) My family was then sent to Joint Base Charleston, SC for my then husband’s work as a very busy Air Force C-17 pilot. I adapted to the inland port city and this is where my background in intermodal global logistics and supply chain management began. My plan was in high gear until the market crash. This was followed by yet another work relocation for my then husband. Delaware from Charleston, SC was like a foreign country. Shortly after relocation, divorce. We were like nomads with frequent relocations that I had no final base camp. I start over. However, I did not gain amnesia and I continue to expand my knowledge at the graduate level and learn to eliminate unnecessary work by learning some coding. Please note, I enjoy learning to code but I am no programmer. I have studied abroad in Denmark. Worked in Japan and lived in more US states than I can recollect. It was all my pleasure even the hard times. I love interacting with people and technology. My best asset is research capabilities and connecting the dots. I am fluent in Spanish minus writing (takes a bit of time) so I would not say I am bilingual. High quality speakers are one of man’s best inventions because music is part of my fabric. I am currently a volunteer U.S. country chair for G100: Mission Million, a non-profit organization that aims to empower and connect supply chain professionals around the world. I continue to expand my knowledge and execute concepts more efficiently. Again this is under construction!
