Cited in US Patent 6415329 - Method and apparatus for improving efficiency of TCP/IP protocol over high delay - bandwidth network, as well as US Patent 6411616 and US Patent 6101180 - High bandwidth broadcast system having localized multicast access to broadcast content, all based in part on my work and public domain white papers published during the 1990's. I developed the first satellite SCADA network for broadcasting operations (the National Supervisory Network, 1988), implemented the first (and over 300 more) localized MPEG digital satellite radio networks (NSN Network Services, 1993), designed and implemented the world's first commercial international satellite Internet services (NSN,1995, with InfoMail, Uganda) and helped define and develop improved satellite Internet TCP/IP transmission standards (IETF, 1996). NSN, sold to Jacor Communications in 1997, was called Clear Channel Satellite following CC's acquisition of Jacor in 1999.
