Before her last position, she served as the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) at Green Packet Berhad, a public listed company with diverse interests encompassing telecommunications, digital banking, and data centers. In this critical role, Sereen played a pivotal part in fundraising, overseeing M&A activities, managing digital banking license applications, shaping investor relations, and driving the digital transformation of the finance function. Additionally, Sereen held the positions of Acting Chief Executive Officer (Acting CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the airasia rewards program, where she successfully transformed the airline loyalty program into a comprehensive lifestyle coalition loyalty platform by embracing digitalization and introducing innovative cash-lite products. Her extensive career also encompasses significant 8 years of experiences in the banking sector, with roles at 2 largest banking institutions in Malaysia like Maybank and CIMB, complemented by a strong foundation in audit and assurance developed during her tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
