- Responsible for all Finance, Legal and IT areas.
- Restructured the Finance area, reviewed and implemented new processes and procedures for the area.
- Responsible for annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts, working together with other areas  to improve P&L KPIs.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Brazil

Harsco Environmental

- Reporting to Global Director, Finance Operations, in the USA, leading Finance Operations in South America, with a team of 52 people in 27 operating sites (1 in Argentina, 21 in Brazil, 3 in Chile and 2 in Peru).
- Counselor of HSBC Pension Fund, representing Harsco employees’ pension fund and acting as Finance Director for the Rail Division in Brazil.
- Responsible for FP&A, including Annual Planning/Budgets/Quarterly Forecasts and consolidated reporting to Finance HQ in the UK using Hyperion Planning, SmartView and Essbase, analyzing monthly/quarterly variances.
- Led the implementation of Oracle EBS R12 in Brazil, executing the rollout, CoA adherence and review of outsourcing/offshoring activities.
- Management of offshoring activities to Global SSC in India (T&E expenses, fixed assets, and reconciliation).

- Reported to the Managing Director in Brazil and the Global CFO (UK), responsible for the Finance, IT, Payroll and Legal sectors of the Brazil operations, with a team of 15 people.
- Implemented the ERP (MXM), upgrading the IT infrastructure, reducing IT costs by 15% and saving R$ 30K/year in telecom and printing expenses.
- Applied financial analysis to identify opportunities to benefit from tax credits of R$6M, reducing raw material costs by 15%.
- Provided support to business sectors (Operations, Engineering, Commercial) on financial and fiscal issues.
- Implemented improvements in the outsourced accounting routines, reducing trial balance delivery by one day.

- Reported to the CFO LATAM, responsible for the Financial, Internal Control and Legal sectors of Brazil and Mexico, managing a team of 20 people.
- Identified tax credits opportunities of R$4M, saving 15% in printing costs, with a positive impact of R$1,5M on EBIT.
- Improved the Month-end closing process, reducing the time taken by two days.
- Close relationship with Commercial and Marketing areas, supporting pricing strategy and credit analysis of dealers.
- Negotiation of payment solutions with delinquent customers, enabling the recovery of R$3,5M of overdue receivables.

Dentsply Sirona

- Reported to the Group’s Controller in the USA and the CEO in Brazil, managing Finance & IT of 8 companies, with a team of 42 people.
- Implemented Hyperion (HS9/HFM) and reorganized the financial sector, reducing personnel costs and admin expenses.
- Reorganized the accounting and fiscal sectors, identifying tax credits of R$35M, with a R$9M cash impact over two years.
- Close relationship with Commercial and Marketing areas, supporting pricing strategy and credit analysis of dealers.
- Negotiation of payment solutions with delinquent customers, enabling the recovery of R$2M of overdue receivables.
