Senior User Experience Designer

Participated in customer interviews, synthesized data by highlighting and categorizing relevant comments, created affinity maps to identity common themes and pain-points across user, helped build out user personas and well as proto-personas. Developing a customized Geoforce design system based on material design. Created workable prototype designs, create usability tasks and scripts, organized and moderated usability sessions to verify design decisions. Working alongside our Senior UX/UI Designer to revamp our entire application design, information architecture, and creating a fully responsive solution. Prototyped and presented concepts and designs to senior leadership (including CEO) to gain organization buy-in.

Designed and collaborated with dev team to create a mobile first browser application to allow third party dock workers access to asset compliance status prior to loading onto a ship. This application eliminated tedious manual processes from our (largest) customer and freed resources to be utilized elsewhere. Presented the final project to our entire sales team including the CRO.

User Experience Designer

Designing UI for a B2B SaaS web based application that is connected to hardware (Internet of things). Developing from scratch and maintaining a digital product design system, and transforming our web based applications to a fully responsive framework to better serve our user needs. Designed functional prototypes in XD and performed user testing.

Designed products from concept to completion. Developed the branding, voice, and website based on target audience, market research, and business goals. Sourced product, designed graphics, and managed vendor relationships. Selected models, art directed photoshoots, took photography, and edited for use on website, email, and social media platforms. Managed social strategy and facebook advertising. Grew Mail Chimp email subscribers, and all social media accounts from scratch. Designed, set up, and managed vendor booth at live events.

Neiman Marcus Women's Apparel, Men's, and Cusp/Contemporary - Propose monthly sale strategy ideas with superiors. Developed concepts with sketches and wireframes, designed, and collaborated with development to produce a fully responsive look book format to increase engagement, sales, vendor revenue, and mobile traffic. Collaborated with marketing and copy to design, slice, and deliver over 1,500 emails. Worked cross functionally with copywriters, developers, and UX to re-brand and restructure the loyalty program website and emails for seamless omni-channel presentation. Developed a series of consistent loyalty program iconography to represent user benefits, track points, and program services. Designed web banners, app assets, and landing pages to drive traffic and increase sales. Trained and managed freelance designer with weekly email designs, look-books and ensured they met brand standards and guides. Took over all responsibilities of the senior designer for 6 months until the position was filled.
