🚨 Disclaimer: Opinions are my own and should not be taken as a representation of current company views, realities, and goals. 🚨 Hello, my name is Seth Killian; I'm a Marketing & Sales Ops guy. I partner with fast-moving SaaS companies to help them rapidly scale revenue. Alignment across marketing & sales teams accelerates growth, especially when the right talent & technology are combined. Earlier in my career, I was head of the luxury suites department at one of the largest indoor sports arenas in the country. I started as a food runner while in college and worked my way up the ranks for eight years. Eventually, I found myself managing a department of 60 people across admin, operations, & client-facing teams. I went on to drive sales growth at a SaaS company specializing in event software where I cut my teeth making cold calls, upselling accounts, and training some of the most talented sales professionals across the SMB, Mid-Market, & Enterprise tiers as the company's Sales Trainer. At another company, I led a team of SDRs that delivered over $60MM in pipeline to the Sales Org resulting in 105% growth. During that time, 7 out of every 10 deals closed originated with my team. From there, I stepped into a Sales Operations role at the same company where, in addition to managing the SDR function, I onboarded new sales reps, launched new enablement technology, developed comprehensive reporting & dashboards, & spearheaded a new product launch in the middle of the pandemic. In mid-2020 I Co-Founded a marketing agency serving the real estate industry. Within 6 months we grew the agency to the point where I went full time. By May 2021 we had 30 clients, 10 employees, & we were bringing in $25k/mo in revenue. In July 2021 we were acquired by a larger digital marketing agency and after helping with the transition I exited the company after an equity buyout. Since then, I've re-entered the B2B SaaS space and currently hold the position of Director, Sales & Marketing Operations at EverAg. Over the years I've learned a lot from the mentors in my life. I am where I am today because of a lot of hard work.... some of which is my own. The awards I've won throughout my career are certainly nice and appreciated but by far the greatest compliment is watching those I've coached succeed in their careers. When I'm not working you can catch me spending time with my beautiful wife and 4 kids, smoking meat on my Traeger grill, reading a good Sci-Fi book, and puffing on my pipe.
