closeup is an oral care brand, created in 1967, built around closeness and confidence, targeting youth. It holds strong positions in D&E markets from Brazil, Nigeria, India to the Philippines.

Responsible for the brand's global P&L, global equity development, product/communication innovation agenda across 50+ markets.

Transformed  the brand from a TV lead, traditional trade driven, purposeless brand playing in historic markets into a digital first, e- commerce ready, purposeful brand (#freedomtolove), with a distinctive style, locally relevant communications, on trend innovation (whitening, mouthwash, design toothbrushes) expanding to new geographies (Argentina, Russia, UK). Doubled brand growth, turned around key cells and delivered GM accretion. 

From June 2018, also responsible for Unilever's toothbrush business globally and took leadership of our Oral Care sustainability transformation agenda.
