I am an Associate at BCG, Kuala Lumpur office. I hold Masters in Urban Planning and Real Estate from the University of Manchester, with RTPI qualification. During my studies my main interest/passion revolved around the field of sustainability and adaptation of urban development. In testament to this passion and subject area, I received the McLoughlin Planning Award for my dissertation on Loss of Ecological functionality and its impact to human wellbeing in Manchester, UK. Since graduation, my working experience include strategic consulting in the below areas: Financial Institutions - building an offshore tech centre for digital capability building of regional bank in South East Asia - jumpstarting revenue uplift for a South East Asian bank in wealth segment Climate & Sustainability: -Adaptation & Resilience measures for vulnerable communities (South East Asia) -Consulting for transport planning and sustainable development (North-West UK) -Consulting for green spaces and green infrastructure (North-West UK) People & Org -learning & development design in the Oil & Gas sector (Malaysia) -creating learning journeys in the Power & Utilities sector (Malaysia) -learning & development design for professional services firm (Malaysia) At work, I hold on to this manifesto: "If I’m going to be wrong or to make a mistake, let it not be because I did nothing, or did something with poor thought." Outside of work, I am an internationally certified fitness instructor with a focus on HIIT, kickboxing and weightlifting classes. I believe health should never be compromised by career/work, and I try to carry this in my daily interaction with people at work. In my free time I enjoy creative writing and hiking biweekly with my beloved twin sister. I aim to be a published fiction writer one day.
