I have always had a keen interest and passion for art. Since rediscovering my talent in 2015, and sharing my work on social media, I have been approached by a number of individuals, who have offered me the opportunity to be a part of various projects and start-ups. 

Most recently, I illustrated a poetry book which was published in November 2016 and I have been asked to illustrate a second in 2017. 

My strongest talents are currently concept artwork / sketches, pencil and ink drawings. I have a strong sense of light, form, tone and palette and my art style/techniques are varied and flexible.

I am currently teaching myself how to use art/design software, such as Illustrator, to broaden my skill set and enable me to progress further in the Art/Illustration industry.

How many sunsets have I missed because of work? 🌅

As I walked and took in my surroundings yesterday evening, I couldn’t help but wonder.

Pre-Flexa I had little to no flexibility and was stuck in an office 8am - 6pm, Mon - Fri. 

How many beautiful evenings passed me by as I sat at my desk, watching the clock and wishing the time away?

I don’t think I actually want to know 😅

There are so many reasons I love flexible working and being remote-first, but more often than not, it’s the little things I’m most grateful for 🧡
