As a Software Engineer at Cisco with six years of experience, I have contributed extensively to the design and implementation of scalable solutions for Cisco ISE. I led the development of a highly efficient purge operation capable of deleting millions of stale endpoints within minutes, a feature widely utilized by ISE customers. I designed and implemented services to integrate external endpoint inventory data for enhanced authorization and profiling, while also working on extracting additional attributes from authentication and authorization packets to improve the policy engine. My work on the OpenAPI framework involved designing YAML-based REST APIs, automating their integration across modules, and developing asynchronous APIs to manage and monitor background jobs. I played a key role in optimizing system communication by implementing RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication, reducing component loads. Additionally, I designed and developed the API gateway using Kong Gateway, Docker, and PostgreSQL, and migrated the ISE Feed Service to AWS, ensuring a seamless transition to cloud infrastructure. I have also contributed to the profiler module, a core component of Cisco ISE, and resolved critical customer issues in large-scale deployments. My efforts in uplifting unit test cases, improving code quality, and addressing customer enhancement requests have significantly enhanced ISE’s reliability and scalability. Graduated with Master of Science in Computer Science from State University of New York in May 2018. Developed few projects using Java, C, Swift and Objective C as a programming languages. Hands on experience with network programming. Interned at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a System Software Engineer Intern where my primary focus was to work with HPE proprietary product HPE OneView developing high quality software. I got an opportunity to work on several technologies such as Software Defined Data Center, Java, JavaScript, Computer Networks, JUnit testing and so on.
